Hope all these things that happened, some in 2022, helps you guys to decide why it´s a better solution.We are a small IT Support team of 3 staff that are looking for an alternative to Teamviewer to remotely connect to our Business Computers in 2 remote locations and our local main office, we have been using Teamviewer successfully but we have been asked to see if we can come up with another option that would not allow users on their Business computers to see their password to the remote connect software as we do not want staff to be able to set the password for the software themselves OR have the ability to see the password so that they couldn't pass the password to an external person to allow them to connect to the users computer.Īre there any options that will let us Whitelist IP addresses that can remotely access our users/staff computers? This way we can setup our IT Support team with fixed IP addresses and then allow their IP addresses as the only IP addresses that can log into the users/staff members computer. When i booted the OS in the VMWare Player, i couldn´t operate the Guest System on VMware, and the remote client became unresponsible until someone at the other endpoint allowed me as Admin. To finish, and sharing the only negative experience i have with this software, i was testing Linux Distros using VMWare Player.
Not a problem with AnydeskĪnd after all this reasons, i can mention that i helped my cousin during a bus trip, in which he was connected to a Bus Internet with 4G router and he needed to convert a PDF do Word document to edit a wrong text block, with no problem at all.
